Glamping Pods & Lodges
What style of glamping accommodation should I buy?
One of the first decisions you will need to make on your glamping journey is what type of accommodation to offer - a decision that has become increasingly difficult in recent years due to a vast array of options. - from gypsy caravans, bell tents, hobbit holes, tree houses, shipping containers, pods and more! Back in 1992, when Wigwam® Cabins built the first ever timber Pod, the choice was a little easier as this was the only glamping unit on the market.
If you want a four season product that’s easy to maintain and very popular with holidaymakers, you might want to consider ‘Pods’. The word ‘Pod’ has become a catch all term for small cabins that resemble wooden tents. They come in all shapes and sizes and at a variety of price points. You’ll want to look for ones that are well insulated and have electricity at a minimum. Most people now go for pods with toilets and showers as this saves you having to build a toilet block and they are very popular with guests who are willing to pay more for the added luxury.
There are a lot of great products on the market but we are of course going to argue that Wigwam® are amongst the best, after all we have been building them for over 30 years! Here at Wigwam we specialise in 2 different types of Glamping units. Our Pod range that we pioneered in 1992 has been improved upon year after year to the product you can buy today and also our larger Lodge range which offer a more home from home feel.
We are so confident of their market leading design and innate quality that we will even give you a 10 year warranty. So If you are looking for a cosy, wooden cabin, with a lot of soul, then look no further.

All our cabins are hand-built in Perth by skilled craftsmen and as such we can only build 2 per week.
As a result, lead times tend to be between 3-6 months depending on the time of year.
